PRICERITE TO OPEN IN ROSEDALE, MARYLAND
Ribbon Cutting Scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 10 AM

Keasbey, NJ (March 26, 2014) – PriceRite announced today that it will celebrate the opening of its newest store in  Rosedale, Maryland on Sunday, March 30th. Located at 1753 Chesaco Avenue in Rosedale, this location marks the fourth PriceRite location in Maryland and our third store in the Baltimore market. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10 AM. Scheduled to attend are State Senator, District Eight Katherine A. Klausmeier; Larry C. Simmons, Special Assistant to the County Executive; District Six Coucilwoman Cathy Bevins, as well as leaders from local community associations.

To commemorate the opening of this new store, PriceRite will also present a donation of $2,500 to the Food Bank of Maryland at the event.

PriceRite’s mission is to provide customers with a “clean, fresh, and friendly” shopping experience every day. Also known for its unmatched value, PriceRite offers customers the same quality foods as traditional supermarkets at about half the price and with the convenience of warehouse club-style shopping without the membership fees or bulk-buying requirements.

The 35,794 sq. ft, state-of-the-art PriceRite of Rosedale Plaza will bring 125 full- and part-time jobs to the community and will feature some of the industry’s leading “green technologies,” including glass doors on dairy cases, and energy-efficient lighting and refrigeration throughout the store.

PriceRite employs a self service format that includes fresh produce delivered daily; packaged meats; baked goods; a variety of private label and national grocery brands; as well as dairy and frozen food products.
To further reduce costs and pass along those savings to customers, PriceRite does not advertise or publish a weekly circular. Customers are encouraged to use their own bags or to buy them as needed for 10¢ each, which benefits the environment while containing costs. By focusing on keeping operating costs low, PriceRite is proud to pass significant savings along to its customers.

“Expanding our service in Maryland with a new store in Rosedale is a natural next step in our commitment to providing our customers with a great shopping experience,” said Neil Duffy, president of PriceRite. “At PriceRite, it is our philosophy that our customers shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality to save on price. We look forward to having a positive impact on the community and are grateful to our new neighbors for their support.”
