New Bedford, MA (January 28, 2015) – Price Rite announced today that it will celebrate the Grand Reopening of its New Bedford store located at 139 Hathaway Road with a Free Fresh Spiral Ham giveaway for the first 400 customers on
Sunday, February 1, 2015. Price Rite’s sister location in South New Bedford (39 South Street) will also participate in this exciting promotion.
In-store festivities on Sunday will also include food demos and special character appearances to help celebrate the reopening of the bigger, state-of-the-art store, which was redesigned to better serve customers while offering the same fresh quality products at Price Rite’s everyday low prices.
This “new” Price Rite of New Bedford will now feature an additional 12,000 square feet and some of the industry’s leading “green technologies,” including glass doors on dairy cases, and energy-efficient lighting and refrigeration throughout the store.
“Reinvesting in the New Bedford community, which we have had the privilege of serving since 2000, is a natural next step in our commitment to our neighbors, associates and customers,” said Neil Duffy, president of Price Rite. “At Price Rite, it is our philosophy that our customers shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality to save on price. The Price Rite of New Bedford will offer our loyal customers a new and improved shopping experience with the same fresh food and great prices for which Price Rite is known.”
Price Rite’s mission is to provide customers with a “clean, fresh, and friendly” shopping experience every day. Also known for its unmatched value, Price Rite offers customers the same quality foods as traditional supermarkets at about half the price, and with the convenience of warehouse club-style shopping without the membership fees or bulk-buying requirements.
Price Rite employs a self service format that includes fresh produce delivered daily; packaged meats; baked goods; a variety of private label and national grocery brands; as well as dairy and frozen food products.
