With many graduation ceremonies canceled due to the Coronavirus, Price Rite Marketplace associates stepped up to honor thier coworkers!
On Saturday, June 27, 59 Price Rite Marketplace stores across eight states honored more than 70 graduating associates who work in its stores by holding their own graduation ceremonies.
With traditional graduation ceremonies cancelled or postponed until further notice, Price Rite Marketplace decided to recognize its graduates who have been working harder than ever these last few months due to the coronavirus pandemic. Each graduate’s name was read aloud, as they were presented with a certificate from their store manager. A small celebration was then held afterwards for the graduates and their team members.
“Our team members are truly exceptional! They take tremendous pride in taking care of our customers, each other, and our stores,” said Jim Dorey, President, Price Rite Marketplace. “When we realized how many of our team members had earned a degree but were unable to celebrate, our Price Rite team rallied around the idea of celebrating every graduate in our stores. The smiles and joy speaks volumes to our Price Rite Marketplace spirit. Congratulations to the Class of 2020!”
