Through Price Rite's partnership with Feed the Children, one of the largest U.S.-based charities, Price Rite donated thousands of pounds of food and essentials to 6,400 families in need this year. In response to last night’s train derailment in downtown New Britain, Conn., the Price Rite of New Britain in Columbus Plaza temporarily closed to accommodate local emergency teams responding to the derailment on Columbus Boulevard. Price Rite reopened this morning and has resumed regular hours, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
